UC San Diego Hillel is excited to welcome two new professionals, Lola Stanten and Dor Gwieta, to the professional team.
Lola, Springboard Innovation Specialist, is trained in utilizing Design Thinking to grow innovative new approaches to community building. A graduate of the University of Oregon, Lola coordinates the Triton Jewish Leaders incubator, investing in students as the catalysts of change across campus.
Dor, Hillel’s new Jewish Agency for Israel Fellow, comes to San Diego from Tel-Hai, where he was a member of the Student Union and Hillel while studying in school. Dor is passionate about Israel education and loose-leaf tea, and will work hard in the year ahead managing Hillel’s Birthright trip and connecting students with the Jewish State.
Lola and Dor join Sophie Needelman, UC San Diego Hillel’s Jacobs Director of Engagement and Leadership, in rounding out a programming team deeply invested in supporting the hundreds of students we serve and helping them make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning and Israel.
