Ten days in Israel, for free! Experience sunrise on Masada, get dirty at an archeological dig, hike a nature preserve, spend the night in a Bedouin tent, meet with Israeli peers, swim in the Mediterranean Sea, go for a jeep ride on the Golan Heights, visit the Western Wall, and float in the Dead Sea! UC San Diego Hillel’s 2019 Birthright dates are June 18-30. Email Shir Azaria for more information.
*This trip is a gift from Birthright Israel. Taglit-Birthright Israel is an innovative partnership between the people of Israel through the Government of Israel, private philanthropists through the Birthright Israel Foundation and Jewish communities around the world (North American Jewish Federations, Keren Hayesod, and the Jewish Agency for Israel).
Shabbat & Holidays
Hillel is your religious home throughout the year.
During each quarter, join Hillel for Shabbat services and dinner in Ocean View Terrace, the new kosher dining hall at Marshall College. Connect with friends and relax at the end of the week. Best part is, the food is FREE.
Travel with UC San Diego Hillel to the Developing South during Spring Break for a hands-on experience putting into practice Judaism’s vision of justice. For ten weeks leading up to the trip, you’ll dive deep into learning about the Jewish idea of tzedek (justice) and prepare for the opportunity of a lifetime. You’ll head to Central America with fellow UC San Diego students for a week of volunteer work, cultural experiences and learning. You’ll come home transformed.
