At Hillel, we believe that it is never too early to prepare for Jewish life on campus!
In 2017, Hillel launched the High School Seminar to help 12th grade students from across San Diego connect with their potential for Jewish involvement in college. Students meet monthly to prepare for college and explore how to do Jewish after leaving home. Top educators facilitate thought-provoking activities to prepare seniors for what they might experience on campus, including an exploration of Jewish identity and identity intersectionality. Participants learn from current college students about navigating the university, greek life, mental health resources, Israel on campus, leadership and entrepreneurship.
