Triton Jewish Leaders: n. A leadership incubator mobilizing student leaders through individualized mentorship and empowering them as catalysts of change across the university.

Triton Jewish Leaders is the platform for building student life at UC San Diego that is radically inclusive. Triton Jewish Leaders are change agents, interested in honing their skills to make college life better for their community. TJLs, with the support of a Hillel professional coach, are at the forefront of community programming, social activism, Israel engagement and building Jewish life.

As a TJL, you’ll be paired with a coach from the Hillel team who will help you effect the change you wish to see across campus, connecting you with the resources and support you need to be a leader at UC San Diego. TJLs also have access to a cutting-edge professional mentorship opportunity, pairing students with a successful leader in their intended career where they can hone crucial skills before entering the workforce.

TJL Spotlights

Maddie

Maddie, a junior studying Psychology, strives to provide a safe space for sexual health education on campus and in the greater college community. Maddie and TJL Cece have together launched the podcast and website “Soft Spot” to educate hundreds of students on important health issues.

Sam

Sam serves as the president of the UCSD Interfraternity Council and is a brother of Alpha Epsilon Pi. A San Diego native, Sam has made reshaping the opportunities available to his fellow Jewish students one of his top priorities so that everyone can get the most out of their college experience.
