Tritons for Israel
Tritons for Israel (TFI) is the Pro-Israel student organization at UCSD. They are dedicated to raising awareness about Israel and Israeli culture, educating students, and promoting peace in the Middle East. Tritons for Israel encourages everyone to get involved and stay updated by attending their weekly general body meetings and many events!

Winter Birthright
Are you Jewish? 18 – 26 years old? Never been to Israel on a peer group trip? Travel to Israel this winter with Hillel of San Diego on a Taglit-Birthright trip! Previous applicants can pre-register on September 13 and new applicants can register on September 14 online. Please email Leah with questions or interest.
Summer Taglit-Birthright Israel
If you are Jewish, between the ages of 18-26 and have never been on a peer organized trip you could be eligible for Hillel’s Taglit birthright israel trip! If you have already been on a peer organized trip, you can go back to Israel on one of many travel or study programs.
Want to travel with friends from your school and make new ones? And meet students from across the country? Hillel’s Explore Israel Campus Trip is the program for you! Sign up to go with other students from Hillel at UCSD! This year (for the first time!) we are offering a SUMMER August Birthright trip. This is a great chance to extend your ticket and spend more time in Israel!
Highlights include:
- Sunrise on Masada
- An archaeological dig
- Hiking in a gorgeous nature preserve with a refreshing waterfall at the end
- A night in a Bedouin tent
- A chance to meet your Israeli peers
- Swimming in the Mediterranean Sea at sunset
- A jeep ride on the Golan Heights
- Visiting the Western Wall, and exploring the tunnels underneath
- Floating in the Dead Sea
