Union of Jewish Students (UJS)
Is the student board that plans events that bring together Jewish students to create a vibrant Jewish campus community. UJS is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming Shabbat experience as well as working together with the Hillel staff to plan Holiday celebrations. In addition to celebrating holidays, UJS also plans the quarterly Schmooze with the Jews, The Shpiel “Jewish Life Informational, and the annual Jewbillee week of celebrating the Jewish traditions with the campus community.

Jewish Organization for Persian and Americans (JOPA)
JOPA is a social group that is meant to highlight the cultural details that make being Jewish so amazing. The intertwining of Judaism with a twist of Persian roots is embodied through events such as hookah nights, an annual Purim Party, weekly breakfasts, and much much more. Going into its 3rd year, the JOPA Family is excited to make this year bigger and better than ever! Don't be shy, we are very welcoming!!!

Keshet: LGBT Jews and Allies
Keshet strives to be a group that is open to all people, regardless of sexual orientation or religious practice. This group has many amazing events, including picnic lunches, movie screenings, LGBT-themed Chocolate Seder, dances, and more!

Alpha Epsilon Pi
Alpha Epsilon Pi is the only national Jewish fraternity. AEPi’s role is to encourage and guide the Jewish student to become one of tomorrow’s leaders through dedication to Jewish heritage, ideals, values, and ethics. The bonds in AEPi run deeper than most organizations. The Chi Sigma Chapter has consistently been recognized for outstanding achievements on campus and nationally since its inception in 1997, including two ”Chapter of the Year” awards and the highest GPA for eleven years in a row.

AEPHi
AEPhi, the national Jewish sorority at UCSD, is a source of energy and sisterhood for the entire Jewish community on campus. Although it’s not exclusively Jewish, AEPhi tailors its events around the Jewish calendar, making sure to include both it’s Jewish and non-Jewish sisters in the fun!
